On the B3212, the scenic route across Dartmoor




 We are 8 miles from the cathedral City of Exeter on the B3212 between the pretty village of Dunsford and the small moorland  town of Moretonhampstead.

The B3212 is the scenic route across Dartmoor National Park via Princetown with its prison and High Moorland Visitor Centre. 

Directions from the M5 & A303

Leave the M5 at junction 31 to join the A30

Leave the A30 at the first exit (down ramp to roundabout, first left towards Dunsford)

Road ends after about one mile at a T junction with the B3212

Turn left onto the B3212 and drive for 7 miles - ignore right turns for Dunsford after 6 miles

We are on the B3212 immediately after you cross the river, one mile west of Dunsford 

Directions from Cornwall  (A30)

About 10 miles after Okehampton, turn right at the Whiddon Down roundabout onto the A382.

In Moretonhampstead turn left onto the Exeter road (B3212),  we are 4 miles from

Moretonhampstead, on the B3212, at the bottom of the hill just before the river.

Alternatively  If you want to drive across Dartmoor National Park:

You can join the B3212  at Yelverton, or from Tavistock take the B3357 to Two Bridges, where it joins the B3212.
